About Jodie

I’m a neurodivergent employment solicitor, ED&I consultant, coach, trainer, author and campaigner, and I’m passionate about creating workplaces where people can truly thrive. My work centres around employment law, mental health and wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I), and neurodiversity because I believe people perform at their best when they feel supported, valued and included.

I began my legal career as a barrister after being called to the Bar by The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in 2010 before cross-qualifying as a solicitor in 2013. In 2017, I experienced what I now describe as my “mental breakthrough”. That experience changed the way I see leadership, wellbeing and the workplace, and inspired me to found Thrive Law in 2018 – the UK’s first law firm built around mental health and wellbeing.

Today, I’m proud to lead Thrive Law, with our headquarters in Leeds and teams in London and the South West. Together, we provide specialist employment law, HR support, Training, Commercial and Data Law to employers and employees, with workplace wellbeing, ED&I and neurodiversity at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is simple: to help create workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Alongside leading Thrive Law, I’m also an active member of The Law Society’s Employment Law Committee. Whether I’m advising clients, delivering training, speaking at events or helping shape the future of employment law, my focus is always the same: making work better for people and for businesses.
