Training

A huge part of Jodie Hill’s vision when she set up her own law firm was to educate and empower, not just react to problems as they arose—that is when her consultancy work began.

As a result, she is passionate about using her legal knowledge and experience as an employer to create and foster positive workplaces that allow people to be their true selves.

This is where Jodie’s training offering came from. Her clients have requested her to come into their organisations and help them to develop this kind of culture and fill skills gaps in the workplace.

Jodie covers key employment law and HR topics, and across ED&I, mental health and wellbeing, and neurodiversity. She also offers training on areas such as having difficult conversations and other soft skills. Follow this link for more information on the topics Jodie and her team can cover in training.

During training sessions, Jodie aims to:

Build

On existing knowledge and encourage discussion.

Support

Learning and development aligned with individual needs and the needs of the wider team.

Cohesion

To bring together teams at all levels and create a psychologically safe space to discuss experience.

Align

Thinking and understanding in the workplace.

Jodie can work with you to create a training strategy for your chosen platform, length of time, and whichever people you require to suit your needs. Everything is bespoke.

She can deliver a half-day session for line managers on absence management just as seamlessly as a half an hour session for employees on mental health awareness.

Feedback from happy clients

HR Dept

Jodie’s approach was excellent and turned what could have potentially been very dry and tedious subject matters into a day that was enlightening, fun, engaging and extremely comprehensive. Indeed, the laughter, gasps and comments of ‘no way can that be true’ coming from the group could be heard ringing out throughout the day.

Brilliant live webinar with Jodie Hill today on Employment Risks, organised through the Law Society. Loved the case law deep dive and the practical guidance on worker/employee/self-employed status. Would recommend as a refresher for any In-House Counsel or People Team.
